ESA and ESPI Sign New Agreement for Reinforced Cooperation

At ESPI’s 20th Anniversary Event on 25 September 2023, ESA Director General Josef Aschbacher and ESPI Director Ludwig Moeller signed an ESA-ESPI agreement for reinforced cooperation between the two entities.

The new agreement solidifies ESA’s long-term support to ESPI, introducing a multiannual programme for ESPI research networking and education activities; and fostering stability for a longer-term evolution of the Institute.

The agreement was unanimously approved by all ESA member states at ESA Council meeting in June 2023. ESA is one of the two founding members of ESPI, together with Austria.
