In October and November 2019, ESPI Resident Research Fellow Tomas Hrozensky participated as a speaker in two events in the Central and Eastern Europe region, addressing issues related to several recently published or still ongoing ESPI research studies on topics such as space security, space diplomacy, space strategy and space power.

At the "Arms Control - The Ultimate Challenge" expert seminar in Bratislava, which was organized by the Slovak Foreign Policy Association, Tomas Hrozensky contributed to the panel on new risks for arms control with a talk on space security and counterspace capabilities. At the Antall Jozsef Knowledge Centre in Budapest, he joined the evening event titled "The New Race for Space - a Chance for Europe", which also included an exchange of ideas on the perspectives of small- and medium-sized countries in the European space sector and in the space domain at large.
