ESPI Resident Fellow Matteo Tugnoli was invited to present the study on “European Access to Space: Business and Policy Perspectives on Micro Launchers” to a meeting of the ESA Space Economy Steering Committee, which took place in ESTEC on 26 June 2018.
The Space Economy Steering Group advises the Director of ESA’s Industry, Procurement and Legal Services on the benefits arising from the use of space-based capabilities, in terms of services for the population, job creation and technical development. It also channels external guidance and expertise from Member States.
The presentation by Matteo Tugnoli outlined in detail the research rationale and its methodology, further describing the study’s major findings and conclusions, to the audience composed of representatives of ESA Member States, ESA officials and other experts.
