On 24 June 2024, ESPI Director Hermann Ludwig Moeller delivered the opening keynote of the 2024 European Space Forum in Brussels
Relying on ESPI’s research and data, Director Moeller focused on one of Conference’s underlying themes, Europe’s leadership, providing three complementary perspectives:
- The scale angle – reflecting on Europe’s ambition in space in the international context
- The benefits angle – shifting the discussion from “space economy” to “space for the economy”
- The policy impact angle – calling European actors to scale up the policy impact of space in Europe, leveraging the transformative benefits of space in other sectors of policy and economy
