The lecture was part of the Spring Seminars that the university holds every year in the context of its Master’s degree in International Studies.

The European Space Policy Institute (ESPI) is currently organizing its 11th Autumn Conference on “Innovation in the New Space Economy” which will take place in ESPI on 12-13 September 2017. 21 April 2017. Recognizing the efforts, achievements and commitment towards the students, the University of Cape Town has awarded Dr Annette Froehlich the title "Honorary Adjunct Senior Lecturer". Since the creation of the Master of Space Studies at the University of Cape Town, Dr Froehlich has been visiting lecturer in the SpaceLab MPhil in the Space Studies Programme.
